Aptly described as a “craftsman high-tech boat yard”, and located near the beautiful Lago D’Iseo, Maxi Dolphin has a proven capability of building state-of-the-art performance luxury sailing yachts ranging in size from 27 to 118 feet.

Pursuing a passion beyond his other entrepreneurial accomplishments Vittorio Moretti created this business in 1987. As President of Terra Moretti holding company, a diverse leader in land and marine construction, resort design, wine production and distribution, Mr. Moretti brings to Maxi Dolphin the design, manufacturing as well as service leadership necessary to position the company beyond and above the run of the mill competition. A key to success and a common theme permeating each of these entrepreneurial efforts revolves around “Terra Moretti Style” – a style defined as refined and aimed at excellence by defending traditions, embracing technology and valuing first class service to the maximum.

The yard has close cooperation with world-class designers including Bruce Farr, Ettore Santarelli, German Frers, Jean Marie Finot and Luca Brenta. Programs have varied from the very successful Joker, Dolphin 81, 10 PF and Giro 34’ One Design racers to a group of more custom oriented racing and cruising yachts measuring from 65’ to over 100’. Current build programs include ultra-high technology leading edge TP52 and the 33’ one-design day racer being built for CrossCurrent Marine and the North American market.
